The round table discussion of the ERC in Yerevan

On April 26, the European Educational Foundation (EFU) organized a round-table discussion on "Validation of non-formal and informal learning in Armenia" at the Armenian-Greek College of Tourism, Service and Food Industry in Yerevan.

The Government of RA and the European Educational Foundation in 2013. agreed to collaborate on the validation of non-formal and informal learning. The purpose of the cooperation is to develop and test a concept for the validation process of non-formal and informal learning and to facilitate the cooperation of the RA Ministry of Education and Science and social partners.

The round table was attended by representatives of social partnership and stakeholders, as well as guests from the ERC.

In the course of the discussion, the representative of Armenia of ERC Milena Koradini, director of "Global Developments" Foundation, expert Aram Avagyan, international expert of ERC Elizabeta Mitroi spoke. Aida Tigranyan, Head of the Department of Additional and Continuing Education of the Ministry of Education and Culture, and Anna Kahlson, representative of the ERC, presented the Armenian and European experience of the Ministry of Education and Culture.

During the event, the problems existing in Armenia, which hinder the implementation of the concept of PFIV, were raised, various solutions and proposals were put forward by the participants of the round table with a lively discussion.
