On the 15th of October “Acquaintance Day of Profession” competition was held at “Aries Lunch” Ltd. within the framework of vocational education and training (VET) cooperation program. Due to diligence and culinary skills the team of Yerevan State Armenian-Greek College of Tourism, Service and Food Industry won the first prize.
The evaluation criteria for the competition were as follows:
- Difficulty and diversity of dishes
- Design and service of dishes
- Taste, quality
- Team-work skills
- Time management
- Environmental protection / Effective use of food, cleanliness, quiet work.
The students of Armenian-Greek College will also take part in the second stage of the competition, which will be held by the end of the year.
