In 15 colleges, the study module "Organic Agriculture" is introduced

The presentation of the "Organic Agriculture" training manual and two guidelines took place within the framework of the "Organic Agriculture Support Initiative" (OAGAN) program funded by the European Union.

The event was attended by the RA Minister of Education and Science Arayik Harutyunyan, Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Pyotr Svitalsky, Head of the OGAN project team of the Austrian Development Agency David Muckenhuber, a number of representatives of the field of primary vocational and secondary vocational education, public institutions and agricultural colleges.

RA Minister of Education and Science Arayik Harutyunyan welcomed the representatives of the EU Delegation to Armenia, the Austrian Development Agency and international partner organizations who support the reforms in the field of primary and secondary vocational education in Armenia.

During the event, the educational module "Principles of Organic Agriculture in the Vocational Education System" developed by the RA Ministry of Education and Science and the Austrian Development Agency was presented, and educational literature was published in order to ensure the effectiveness of its implementation.

The Organic Agriculture manual is intended for professors working in secondary vocational education institutions who will teach the Organic Agriculture subject after the introduction of the module of the same name. The first of the guides is intended for students, the second for those interested in the field of organic agriculture.

Within the framework of the introduction of the new module, trainings of more than 90 VET specialists were carried out in Armenia and Austria. The new educational module is being implemented in about 15 agricultural and related educational institutions from this academic year.
