Vocational education and training (VET) — cooperation" program workshop on "presentation of training course for animators"
The German "Vocational Education and Training (VET) - Cooperation" South Caucasus regional program has been operating in Armenia since 2017 and the main goal is to promote the employment of young people in Armenia through professional orientation, secondary professional education, as well as professional practical training and increasing the level of acquired skills. In January 2019, the second phase of the 2019-21 activity of the MKU program was launched. for which one of the main components is the creation and development of effective cooperation and communication between VET institution and employer organizations.
S. On March 20, a workshop was held at "Elite Plaza Business Center" on the topic "Presentation of training course for animators". The workshop was attended by German and Georgian experts of the VET program, as well as RA Ministry of Internal Affairs, Head of the Department of Primary (Vocational) and Secondary Vocational Education A. Aghbalyan, directors of educational institutions providing primary (vocational) and secondary vocational education, directors and founders of employer organizations.
M. Zhamkochian, head of the German VET program, president of the "Business and Education-Cooperation" Foundation, presented the "Animator training course" program and its goal to the participants of the workshop. to create connection and cooperation between VET institutions and organizations, to highlight the needs and requirements of employers for professional personnel, to create professional training programs and practice places for the organization of practical training of students, accompanied by specialists and master teachers, as a result of which students will acquire practical knowledge and skills during work , and at the end of the training, he will have the opportunity to become professional personnel needed by organizations.
During the workshop, A. Aghbalyan presented a report on the system of vocational education and training in Armenia.
German experts K. Bartels presented the system and process of organizing dual training implemented by a large shipbuilding organization in Germany.
K. Zeiss presented the purpose of the "Training Course for Multipliers" based on the German experience to transfer knowledge and skills to the participants regarding the implementation and development of the dual system, as well as to prepare trainers for the organization of dual training for master teachers of VET institutions and representatives of employers during the events organized within the VET program. He suggested to the participants to present the main problems and needs, as a result of the solution of which it will be possible to create a cooperative relationship between the educational institution and the companies.
As a result of the work done in the working groups formed by the participants, the main questions were presented to the German partners: the activities of the supporting structure for increasing the motivation of the business sector, creating and ensuring cooperation, developing joint training programs, financing mechanisms for student internships, training of specialists in organizations and educational institutions, training centers in organizations. creation and a number of other questions and recommendations.
S. in April, in the second phase of the animators training course program, five-day training courses will be organized, at the end of which the participants will be tested on the acquired knowledge. Due to the results of the testing, 10 participants will be selected: 5 ICUs and 5 employer representatives. to participate in the training program to be organized in Germany in August.
