"International exchange "Skills for meaningful life" for students with certain health problems organized by "Youth in Action" Foundation of the European Union within the framework of the established cooperation between "Yerevan Armenian-Greek State College of Tourism, Service and Food Industry" SNOC and Achtme School of Estonia in order to participate in the organized international student camp in 2013 From May 11 to 19, professors and students of "Yerevan Armenian-Greek State College of Tourism, Service and Food Industry" SNOC arrived in the Republic of Estonia.
Representatives from Estonia, Poland, Russia, Georgia, Finland and Armenia participated in the program. Armenia was represented by two professors and six students of Yerevan Armenian-Greek State College of Tourism, Service and Food Industry. The goal of the project was to exchange experiences between young people, as well as to teach healthy food and lifestyle. Each day began with a morning pre-training, then the children were divided into groups and performed various team activities: presentation of national cuisine, performing sports exercises in nature and dances in classrooms.
In the second half of the day, the team of each country presented its educational institution, national culture, customs. During the project, a visit to Pearnu Vocational Training Center was organized, where the project participants got acquainted with the educational system of Estonia. The participants also took part in a competition dedicated to the Forest Day. For one day, the professors of Tichemetsa College held classes with the children participating in the program. On the last day, a farewell evening was organized, which was very pleasant and joyful.
