Career Day, June 25, 2013

Young people with disabilities had a unique opportunity to participate in the career fair organized by Methodical Center for Vocational Orientation on June 25 at "Best Western Congress" hotel. The main goal of the Career Day-Fair under the title "Orientation, Education, Future Work" was to support high school students and their parents to get comprehensive information and advice about choosing a profession and an educational institution.

The event was also attended by the "Improving the Living Standards of Persons with Disabilities through Employment Promotion" (LIFE) program of "Save the Children" funded by USAID in 2013 in order to promote inclusive professional education in Armenia. VET institutions selected as a result of the announced grant competition: Yerevan State College of Informatics, Yerevan Regional No. 1 and Yerevan Regional No. 2 State Colleges named after N. Achemyan, which within the framework of the program offer appropriate conditions to ensure professional education of young people with disabilities.
