Implementation of the module "Acquaintance with the basics of some specialties of the development of historical and cultural tourism" and exchange of experience of "Student companies"

At the initiative of the "Business and Education Partnership" (BEG) Foundation, within the framework of the German "Vocational Education and Training (VET)-Cooperation in the South Caucasus" program, a series of events dedicated to the promotion of secondary vocational education was launched, which aims to diversify and spread educational and training programs developed by the BEG Foundation. application of professional models/modules in schools and VET institutions, to provide an opportunity for the students of marzes and Yerevan to develop professional dialogue and further cooperation.

Students of the 1st and 2nd years of the "Tourism" specialty of Berd Multipurpose State College and Yerevan Humanities State College, within the framework of the implementation of the model/module "Acquaintance with the basics of some specialties of historical and cultural tourism" made a cognitive, educational visit to Haghartsi, Lori Berd Historical and Cultural Reserve, Odzuni Temple , Sanahin cultural places. An M&E event was organized for students of Gyumri Vocational School No. 4 and Yerevan State College of Informatics. The students of Gyumri Vocational School No. 4 and Yerevan State College of Informatics visited the excavation-museum in the village of Arinj, Kotayk region, which is known as "Levon's Cave". They got acquainted with the basics of professions and trades necessary for the development of historical and cultural tourism.

The cooperation between the VET institutions was exciting, as well as effective and useful, because the exchange of best practices and the collection of valuable historical and cultural information took place. As a result of the event, students gained professional knowledge and skills in the field of tourism.
