Training of some developers
2025 On November 19-21, a three-day training course was organized by the National Center for the Development of VET (NCVET) with the support of UNESCO and the RA Ministry of Education and Culture.
The primary goal of the training course was: to form a strong community of future trainers for NSD developers, equipped with knowledge-based skills and relevant software-methodological tools for the framework of sectoral qualifications.
The training course modules were developed based on the methodology and formats for the development of SDGs developed by the UNDP expert.
The coordinators of the training course were UNDP expert Aram Avagyan and international expert Kulli All invited from Estonia. The training was attended by more than 30 representatives: representatives of the VET Department of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of the Republic of Armenia, the Ministry of Education and Culture, the National Training Foundation, the National Institute of Labor and Social Research of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, the Republican Union of Employers of Armenia, the Business and Education Association, representatives of the Global Development Fund and sectoral employers, as well as directors of VET institutions.
During the training, the working groups tested the formats of the NSF and sectoral qualifications framework specifications developed by the UNDP expert, with examples from the construction, ICT and light industry sectors.
At the end of the course, 31 of the participants were given participation certificates.
