“Skills for meaningful life”
<Youth in Action> fund of European Union organized international student camp with title <International exchange <Skills for meaningful life> for students having certain health issues in the context of confirmed cooperation between <Yerevan State Armenian-Greek College of Tourism, Service and Food Industry> and Akhtme school of Estonia.
The lecturers and the students of <Yerevan State Armenian-Greek College of Tourism, Service and Food Industry> left for the Republic of Estonia from May 11-19, 2013 to participate in that activity. Representatives from Estonia, Poland, Russia, Georgia, Finland and Armenia participated in that project. Two lecturers and six students of Yerevan State Armenian-Greek College of Tourism, Service and Food Industry represented Armenia. The goal of project was to implement exchange of experience between students, as well as training on healthy food and living. Each day began with morning exercises, then the students were divided into groups and did various team works, such as representation of national cuisine, doing of sport exercises in nature’s bosom and studies in classroom.
In the afternoon, each team of the country represented their educational institution, national culture and customs. During project the delegation visited Piarnu Vocational Educational Centre, where the participants got acquainted with educational system of Estonia. The participants also participated in competition dedicated to the forest day. One day the lecturers from Tihemetsa college conducted lessons for the students. On the last day farewell party was organized, which was very pleasant and joyful.
