The official closing event of national competition “Armenian skills” took place at Golden Palace hotel on December 5.
All the participants of the competition were awarded with certificates and prizes by the Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan.
Director of NCVETD Tatevik Gasparyan opening the event highlighted the role of participants in further development of economy in Armenia.
The Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan underlined the importance of the IT technologies that had been chosen for competition. “Now there are 2,000 vacancies in IT field which is one of the main reasons to pay more attetion to this sector both in professional and higher educational levels. Unfortunatelly business sector make only some investments in education, but not in whole system. I hope that with the help of such events the involvement of business sector in education will increase. The field needs more investments than charity”, added Mr. Ashotyan.
