DISCUSSION-WORKING PARTY WITHIN GIZ-VET SECTOR

With the financing of the Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development of the Federal Republic of Germany, the German International Cooperation Company - GIZ, 2014-2016. implements the "Development of the Private Sector in the South Caucasus" project, which aims to improve economic development through increasing the competitiveness of the private sector.

Within the framework of the project, a VET human resources development program was developed, the purpose of which is to increase the role of social cooperation in order to modernize educational programs in the fields of winemaking, tourism and engineering.

2015 On July 30-31, a discussion workshop was held for representatives of VET institutions for the purpose of introducing pilot projects, conducted by experts of the national network of distance learning certified by GIZ.

During the discussion-workshop, the necessary infrastructure, resources and scope of cooperation for the introduction of pilot projects were discussed with the representatives of VET institutions, the National Center for VET Development and the National Educational Technologies. Implementation of developed educational programs will begin in 2015. from September.
