S.t. On April 15, the "Global Developments" Foundation, with the substantive and financial support of the European Educational Fund (EEF), in cooperation with the RA Ministry of Education and Science, organized the "Turin Process: Armenia" starting workshop at the Armenian-Greek State College of Tourism, Service and Food Industry in Yerevan.
During the event, Vincent McBride, the representative of the European Educational Foundation and Armenuhi Poghosyan, the head of the policy development and strategy department of the RA Ministry of Education and Science, who is also the coordinator of the Turin process, presented the historical overview of the Turin process in Armenia, starting from 2010, and the Turin process 2016/ 17 introduction and structural changes to the report.
The participants of the event, who were representatives of the relevant ministries and agencies, social partner and donor organizations, were divided into 3 working groups (WGs) to discuss the brief questions developed in advance by Vinent McBride based on the Turin Process guidelines. Vice President of the Republican Union of Employers of Armenia Shushanik Barseghyan, Director of the National VET Development Center Tatevik Gasparyan and Head of the Department of the State Employment Agency Vahagn Hovhannisyan were in attendance. At the end of the event, the next steps of the "Turin Process: Armenia 2016" report development and the schedule of the work program were also presented to the participants.
