The main goals of the National Center for the Development of Vocational Education and Training are to support the development, reform and increase the efficiency of the primary (vocational) and secondary vocational education system. The main objectives of NCVETD are to promote the development, improvements and efficiency of preliminary and vocational education in Armenia.
In the course of its activity, the center, among other functions, carries out VET sector research, development and revision of legislative acts, state educational standards, development of modular programs and curricula, and implementation of monitoring.
In the near future, the Center plans to expand its activities and the range of specialists in the following fields included in the working groups:
- education
- humanities and culture
- business, law and social sciences
- natural Sciences
- technical means, processing industry and construction
- agriculture
- health and social protection
- service delivery and other areas
Applicants must have at least three years of professional teaching experience, as well as work experience in developing curricula and plans and developing other legal documents.
