The participation of the Armenian national team in the 43rd international competition "World Skills"-2015

On August 11-16, the "World Skills" international competition was held in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The Republic of Armenia became a member of the "World Skills" international organization in 2012. The national team of Armenia (with the participation of college students) participated for the first time in 2013. from June 26 to July 8 in the 42nd "World Skills" competition held in Leipzig, Germany, in the fields of jewelry, fashion technology and cooking.

At the 43rd international competition "World Skills"-2015, the Armenian team presented in the following specialties: mechatronics, IT network systems management and jewelry.

Since Armenia is an adjacent member of the "World Skills" international organization, it could not claim prize medals according to the established regulations.

The final analysis of the competition regarding the participation of the national teams has not yet been received, but the individual results of the participants are known. According to these results, the jewelry participant, Artur Gevorgyan, stood out with the maximum points, who was recognized as the best participant of the Armenian national team, awarded with a medal and a corresponding certificate.

All members of the Armenian team received certificates for active participation and valuable contribution to the "World Skills" international competition.

Lilit Petrosyan, the technical delegate of Armenia, as the president of the jury of the fashion technology specialty, received a medal for her effective and impartial activities.

As part of the "One Country, One School" program of the "World Skills" international competition, the participants of the Armenian team had a meeting with the students of Santi School in Sao Paulo.

The meeting took place in a warm and sincere atmosphere. Participants of the meeting exchanged souvenirs.
