The visit of the delegation of "Yerevan Armenian-Greek State College of Tourism, Service and Food Industry" to the Thessaloniki Tourism College

2014 May 5-9, director of "Yerevan Armenian-Greek State College of Tourism, Service and Food Industry" SNOC A. On Vardanyan's initiative, the college delegation visited the Tourism College of Thessaloniki, Greece. The delegation included representatives of the teaching staff and students of the college, as well as representatives of social partners of "Yerevan Armenian-Greek State College of Tourism, Service and Food Industry".

Before going to Thessaloniki, the college delegation also visited "New Wave" college in the city of Kobuleti, Republic of Georgia, with which it has been cooperating for six years. There was an opportunity to get acquainted with the principles of organizing the educational process of "New Wave" college, to participate in practical classes, as a result of which the members of the delegation were awarded certificates.

And already in Thessaloniki, the college delegation visited "Hotel Xenia Helios" tourism college. The delegation got acquainted with Greek cuisine. witnessed the preparation of a number of traditional Greek dishes in the college's food education laboratory, after which Armenian college students had the opportunity to personally participate in the preparation of Greek dishes, learning more about the technology of Greek food preparation.

After completing the practical courses, possible ways of academic cooperation between the two colleges were discussed. As a result of the discussions, it was decided that in the near future the delegation of "Hotel Xenia Helios" Tourism College of Thessaloniki, Greece will make a reciprocal visit to the Armenian-Greek College.
