"Open Day" professional orientation event at Berd State Multipurpose College

The "Business and Education Partnership" (BEG) Foundation continues to implement a series of measures to encourage secondary professional education.

On May 31, 2021, within the framework of the German "Vocational Education and Training (VET)-Cooperation in the South Caucasus" program, with the support of the "Business and Education Partnership" (BEG) Foundation, an "Open Door Day" professional orientation event was held at Berd State Multipurpose College. .

Berd State Multipurpose College opened its doors to the students of the graduating classes of Berd No. 1, Kostya Mardanyan No. 3 and No. 4 primary schools, principals and teachers of educational centers, as well as parents.

Hosted students, parents and teachers toured the professional classrooms of the college, got acquainted with the professions taught at the college, observing the professional practical work performed by the students on the spot.

Through a presentation, the students presented the majors taught at the college, as well as the advantages of studying at the college.

At the end of the event, a reception was organized with the participation of culinary department students.

Vocational orientation and VET promotion events are also planned for students and parents of schools in 16 rural communities of Tavush region.
