On August 22-27, "Skills of the World" was held in the city of Kazan, Russia the 45th international competition, in which 1354 young professionals from 63 countries with 56 skills took part.
The Armenian team participated in the competitions of "Jewellery", "Fashion Technology", "Cooking" skills. In addition to the main competitions, he also participated in the WorldSkills Juniors (14-16 years old) competition with the skills "Polymechanics and Automation", "Integration of Robotic Systems". One of the participants, Erik Vardanyan took the third place in the "Polymechanics and Automation" competition. Participants Benyamin and Andrey Tsaturyan had the same success in "Integration of robotic systems" and won a bronze medal.
RA Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Arayik Harutyunyan participated in the international forum and ministerial summit on August 22-24 within the framework of the competition. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss innovative reforms of educational systems, possibilities of flexibility of professions and qualifications, new approaches to measuring educational results. Secondary professional education and its development prospects were at the core of the discussions.
