At the invitation of "ASLANIDIS" Tourism School of Thessaloniki, Republic of Greece, from May 29 to June 8, a number of professors and students of the Yerevan Armenian-Greek State College of Tourism, Service and Food Industry, led by the director of the college, A.M. Vardanyan, - made a familiarization visit to the Republic of Greece.
The group leaving Armenia also visited "New Wave" College in the city of Kobuleti, Republic of Georgia, which is one of the international partners of "Yerevan Armenian-Greek State College of Tourism, Service and Food Industry".
The administration of "New Wave" college prepared a surprise for the Armenian-Greek college. As part of the international cooperation developed by "New Wave" College, Yerevan Armenian-Greek State College of Tourism, Service and Food Industry was recognized as the best partner of "New Wave" College in 2016.
Expressing their gratitude, the students of the Armenian-Greek college conducted a master class for their Georgian colleagues, preparing traditional Armenian salad with arugula and tanapur.
In Thessaloniki, the group participated in a seminar on "Tourism in Greece" organized by "ASLANIDIS" tourism school. On the latter's initiative, the college delegation participated in the seminar-course on "The hotel business in Greece" held at the "Veginia" hotel.
Arrangements were made for further cooperation.
All the representatives of the college group were awarded certificates of participation.
During the visit to Greece, the group made many educational and familiarization visits to sightseeing and historical and cultural places.
