The Delegation of Yerevan State Armenian-Greek College of Tourism, Service and Food Industry Visits the Tourism College of Thessaloniki
The delegation of Yerevan State Armenian-Greek College of Tourism, Service and Food Industry visited the Tourism College of Thessaloniki, Greek Republic from e 5th-9th of May, 2014. The initiator of the visit was director of the Armenian-Greek College Mr. Arthur Vardanyan and the delegation consisted of the teachers, students as well as of the representatives of the social partners of the Armenian-Greek College.
During the trip, the delegation also visited “New Wave” College in Kobulety, Georgia with which Armenian-Greek College cooperates for already six years.
The delegation visited “Hotel Xenia Helios” Tourism College in Thessaloniki, Greece where they were introduced to the technology of cooking various traditional dishes of Greek cuisine. The students were also given the opportunity to participate in the process of cooking themselves.
After the practical lessons the possible ways for the academic collaboration between the two colleges were discussed. As a result, they decided that the Greek delegation should visit to Armenian-Greek College in the future .
