The Minister of Education and Science Arayik Harutyunyan, Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Piotr Świtalski , Project Team Leader of Organic Agriculture Support Initiative (OASI), ADA David Muckenhuber, representatives from VET sector, NGOs and agricultural colleges participated in the presentation of the training manual “Organic agriculture” and two corresponding guidebooks.
The minister stated that the European Union is one of the major support structures for VET reforms. The current EU funded project “Better Qualifications for Better Jobs” targets at upgrading the agricultural VET institutions.
Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Piotr Świtalski stated that the trainings will foster further promotion of students specializing in organic agriculture.
Project Team Leader of Organic Agriculture Support Initiative (OASI), ADA David Muckenhuber stated that the manual and the training manual and the guidebooks are the outcome of cooperation between the National Center for VET Development and the Austrian Development Agency.
