Today the Minister of Education and Science of RA Armen Ashotyan hosted the Armenian delegation of “Worldskills 2015”. “Worldskills 2015” will take place in Sao Paolo, Brazil from August 11 to 16. The 43-th competition is held in a Latin American country for the first time.
Armenia joined “Worldskills” international organization as an associate member in 2012. The Armenian team took part in the 42-nd “Worldskills” competition held in Leipzig, Germany in 2013 for the first time. There were three professions: jewelry, fashion technology and cooking.
Armenia will be represented in the following professions: Mechatronics, IT Network Systems Administration and Jewelry.
The financial issues are covered from the state budget.
Julia Stakyan, WS Armenia program coordinator in GIZ, also took part in the meeting. The transportation is covered by the GIZ.
