On October 2-8, 2012, the RA delegation participated in the EuroSkills2012 international competition as an observer. Armenia, Georgia and Russia will participate for the first time in the WorldSkills2013 competition in Leipzig, which will be held under the auspices of German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
Armenia's WorldSkills membership was approved in 2012, and the certificate will be issued at WorldSkills2013 in Leipzig. Armenia will present itself in three specialties: cooking, fashion, jewelry. Those students of VET institutions who won the national stage of the competition will go to Leipzig.
