Publication of the results of the Armenian skills competition

On December 5, at the "Golden Palace" hotel, the ceremonial closing of the national stage of the "Skills of Armenia" competition took place, which also marked the beginning of the 2015 season. to the upcoming "World Skills" international competition.

All participants of the competition received certificates and prizes from the RA Minister of Education and Science A. Ashotyan.

Tatevik Gasparyan, the director of the National Center for Development of Vocational Education and Training, made an opening speech at the event. He congratulated the contestants and award winners, highlighting their role in the further development of the economy.

RA Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan emphasized the field chosen in the competition - information technologies, because it is a priority branch for the development of the republic. "Now there are about 2,000 vacancies in the IT sector on the labor market, which is another reason to pay close attention to this sector at both professional and higher education levels. Fortunately, IT is one area where businessmen invest to some degree in education, unfortunately, this is not the case in other areas. I hope that such events will promote more active involvement of businessmen in the field of education. The sector does not need charity, but investment."
