Literary matinee - a pledge of development

A Tumanian mood prevailed in Yerevan State Technological College. It has become a tradition to celebrate Tumanyan's birthday every year by giving a book.

The matinee was organized in the college library. Armenian breath, aesthetic taste and delicate mood were in every corner of the library.

Tumanyan's biographical data was followed by philosophical quatrains, excerpts from poems and passionate patriotic poems performed by students.

At the end of the event, Shoghik Aleksanyan, acting director of the college, gave his unique speech. "I thank the students of our college who came here not only to get quality education, to become good professionals, but also to become suitable citizens for society."

At the end of the matinee, director Shoghik Aleksanyan presented books to all participating students. The students mutually expressed their gratitude to the director by presenting the book authored by Tumanyan.
