The "Business and Education Partnership" (BEG) Foundation, within the framework of the German "Vocational Education and Training (VET) - Cooperation in the South Caucasus" program, with the support of the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, implemented animation/animation film competition With the title "My point of view on the importance of secondary vocational education".between students of VET institutions and school students.
Students and pupils aged 14-24 from 10 educational institutions participated in the first stage of the competition (43 participants in total) with 14 events. To summarize the results, a relevant jury was formed from the representatives of the BKG Foundation, RA Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, MKUZAKI, Tumo Creative Center and partner international educational program. From 14 works, the jury selected 6 works that meet the conditions of the competition, the authors of which were given the opportunity to revise the works, to meet the necessary conditions presented to the competition.
In the second round, the jury evaluated 6 updated animation works.
On September 14, Gyumri state vocational school No. 4 took place Average: professional of education importance my point of view» the awarding ceremony of the animated/animated film competition.
The award ceremony was attended by Artak Aghbalyan, Head of the Department of Primary (Vocational) and Secondary Vocational Education of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Armenia, President of the Business and Education Partnership (BEG) Foundation, Head of the German "Vocational Education and Training-Cooperation in the South Caucasus" program Marine Zhamkochian, National Director of the ILO G20 Program coordinator Karine Simonyan, Chairman of NGO "Ferti" Charity Center - Khachik Sahakyan, partners of local and international structures, directors of VET institutions operating in Gyumri, teachers of VET institutions participating in the competition, students. Ute Fock, head of the German "Vocational Education and Training Cooperation" program, participated remotely in the event. T. Fok made a welcome speech, noting that similar events are an incentive to appreciate VET education and its role in society's life, as well as promising that similar programs and events will continue. A vivid proof of this is the "Student Organization" project, which is already being launched, which is implemented with the support of the Business and Education Partnership Foundation, in order to promote the development of entrepreneurial thinking and activity skills of students and pupils.
The "Business and Education Partnership" Foundation and the German "Vocational Education and Training (VET) - Cooperation in the South Caucasus" program awarded the winners and participants of the competition with gifts, certificates and letters of thanks.
M. Zhamkochian and A. Aghbalyan presented the teams that won the competition and were approved by the jury.
The 1st prize was awarded to the students of Gyumri Vocational School No. 4 Arpine Khachatryan, Hovhannes Simonyan, Ruzanna Harutyunyan.
The 2nd prize was awarded to the students of the 2nd team of the Yerevan State College of Informatics: Khanamiryan Kristine, Sahakyan Nazeli.
The 3rd prize was awarded to the students of the 1st team of the Yerevan State College of Informatics: Zakaryan Emin and Agata Hovhannisyan.
The sympathy of the jury, active participation and incentive prizes were awarded to Beglaryan Lilit, Davit Tarverdyan, students of Masis State Agricultural College, Grigoryan Armenuhi, Yeralyan Armenak, Sukiasyan Araksyan, Pavel Gevorgyan, and Anna Khachatryan, student of Hakob Kojoyan Educational Complex, students of Etchmiadzin State College named after V. Hamazaspyan.
Artak Aghbalyan, head of the Department of Primary (Vocational) and Secondary Vocational Education, thanked all cooperating parties and noted that the fruits of similar future-oriented programs will not be long in coming.
