International Day of Education at the Armenian-Greek College

On January 24, for the first time, the International Day of Education was officially celebrated at Yerevan Armenian-Greek State College in 2018. by the United Nations General Assembly on December 6 after adopting the decision to declare January 24 as International Education Day. The basis of the decision was the decision 206 EX/35 submitted by the UNESCO Executive Board, which was also co-authored by Armenia.

At the event dedicated to the International Day of Education, the students briefly, but at the same time, presented the entire history of education in Armenia, the problems of school education, the role of secondary vocational education in the modern education system and, finally, the vision of the education system according to them. In the framework of the event, there were also words and poems related to education. The event was concluded with a discussion and recommendations.
