2013 training courses were organized and held in the first semester

In 2013, in the direction of increasing the management efficiency of the VET system. The organization of training courses for the entire staff of educational institutions implementing primary (vocational) and secondary professional programs is being continued by MICUSAK.

In the first semester, 1089 lecturers and production training masters, 60 principals and vice-principals, 60 members of management councils, as well as 25 experts developing drafts of state educational standards have already been trained. Details:

Emphasizing the role of the human resource with the necessary training for the successful course of the reforms implemented in the VET system, in 2012 continued trainings for various groups of professionals employed in the system or directly related to it.
The trainings were carried out in accordance with pre-arranged and approved programs and schedules. When preparing the training programs, it was taken into account:
— the topic of the previous training of the given group and the opinions of the group members on the included issues,
— the problems identified during the monitoring conducted in educational institutions,
— recommendations received from educational institutions after previous trainings,

The following training courses were organized and held:

  • 158 trainings for VET directors and deputy directors, methodologists through 10 groups.
  • Training of teachers of VET institutions and production training masters in 2 stages. During the first phase, 1,028 lecturers and production training masters from 84 educational institutions were trained instead of the planned 1,000, and in the second phase, which was combined through monitoring and consultation of the process of introducing professional standards, modular curricula and plans, 1,125 participants were trained.

  • Training of 128 members of the governing boards of 12 regional colleges (instead of the planned 100), including 1-day training for 6 regional colleges;

  • COURSE ON THE TOPIC "ORGANIZING AND IMPLEMENTING THE STUDY PROCESS WITH MODULAR STUDY PROGRAMS FOR CAPACITY BUILDING"

in 2010 in April, training of 183 principals and deputy principals in charge of educational activities of 93 primary and secondary educational institutions was carried out in Yerevan.
In the period from April 14 to June 12, 1340 lecturers, production training masters from 90 primary and secondary vocational educational institutions participated in the 36-hour training course on the topic "Organization and implementation of the learning process with modular training programs aimed at capacity building". Highly qualified specialists from the staff of the National Institute of Education, primary and secondary vocational educational institutions were involved as trainers.

On April 6-10, 2009, the training course for employees and independent experts of KAI "MKUZAK" institution was held at KAI. The training was conducted by the deputy director of the International Center for International Development, Ashot Sahradyan.
The purpose of the training on the topic "Organization and implementation of the learning process with modular training programs aimed at capacity building" was to train experts, who later conducted training courses for 545 lecturers, production training masters, directors and vice directors of 12 multi-functional and 7 other colleges of the RA region. According to RA Minister of Internal Affairs dated 05.06.2009 Order N 417-А/К approved the composition of working groups of 100 experts developing standards. ON THE MEMBERS OF SECTORAL COMMISSIONS FOR THE PURPOSE OF GIVING AN EXPERT CONCLUSION ON PRIMARY PROFESSIONAL (TECHNICAL) AND SECONDARY PROFESSIONAL STATE EDUCATIONAL STANDARDS AND TEACHING DOCUMENTS PREPARATION COURSE
On May 25, 2009, according to the instruction of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Armenia No. 21-08-08/296 of 27.03.2009, the process of training of the sectoral commissions was carried out by the MKUZAK. 86 members of 13 sectoral commissions were trained.
