Matinee Dedicated To Hovhannes Tumanyan’s 150th Anniversary At Armenian-Greek College

Events dedicated to the 150th anniversary of Hovhannes Tumanyan and Komitas still go on at Armenian-Greek College. Within this framework, on May 17th a literary-musical matinee was held the aim of which was to show the palette of the life and pieces of work of Tumanyan as an author and public figure.
The first and second-year students of the college presented episodes from the great writer’s works “A Drop Of Honey”, “Anoush”, “The Dog And The Cat” etc., told Tumanyan’s famous quartets, performed songs and dances. It was mentioned that Tumanyan’s works were translated into a number of foreign languages which were presented at the previous events dedicated to Tumanyan.
