On March 20-26, Yerevan hosted participants of the international student exchange program “Healthy urban life”.
The participants of program are young people from Estonia, Latvia, Russia and Armenia who study the impact of large cities on human health.
The project is implemented by the European Union’s “Youth in action” program, and aims to promote youth initiatives and joint international projects.
Yerevan State Armenian-Greek College of Tourism, Service and Food Industry is actively involved in the program from Armenian side. Director of the College Arthur Vardanyan said, “The program aims to promote tolerance, patience among young people, to raise interest in the culture and cuisine of neighbouring countries, as well as to foster mutual respect. The guests are impressed with the reception of Armenian side. This is an excellent opportunity to introduce our culture.”
