The delegation of Yerevan Armenian-Greek State College of Tourism, Service and Food Industry and Yerevan State Vocational School No. 6 participated in the 24th annual "Christmas in Europe" event from December 7 to 13, 2014 in Prešov, Slovakia.

The event took place at the Hotelova Akademia in Prešov, and was attended by delegations representing about twenty European countries. The Republic of Armenia participated for the first time.

In Europe, the Armenian delegation consisting of two students and two employees presented how Armenians celebrate Christmas and what interesting traditions there are related to the holiday. On the previously announced European buffet day, the Armenian delegation performed in Armenian holiday costumes and traditional dishes. The European participants participated with great interest in the preparation process of a number of Armenian dishes, especially ghapama, gata and dolma with grape bush, and also tasted them.

At the end of the event, the participants were awarded with certificates, and the "Christmas flag" was handed over to Luxembourg, where next year's "Christmas in Europe" event will take place.
