"Technology of preparing dishes of Greek cuisine"

On November 4, 2013, the Yerevan Armenian-Greek State College of Tourism, Service and Food Industry opened its welcoming doors to the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Greece to Armenia Ioannis Taghis, his wife Andromakhi Mentzela and Maria Ghalanopoulou, a member of the embassy, ​​according to the preliminary agreement.

The purpose of the visit was to organize an open class organized by Mrs. Andromakhi for the faculty and students of the college under the title "Technology of cooking Greek cuisine". The students of the college welcomed the guests with a Greek song and dance, the history of Greece and the cultural commonalities of the Armenian and Greek peoples were presented, after which the ambassador's wife and Mrs. Maria presented the technology of cooking Greek dishes to the students and professors in the food laboratory of the college, prepared Greek appetizers, main dishes, desserts, which were tasted. in Ararat hall of the college.

Within the framework of the visit, the steps of further cooperation with the college and the Greek educational institutions of the same name were discussed with the ambassador, as well as the possibilities of the students' visit to Greece as part of the college delegation in the spring.

At the end of the meeting, it was decided to devote the next event to a demonstration of Greek song and dance.
