Career Day was organized on September 28 in the Kanaker-Zeytun community by the Center for Professional Orientation of Young People with the support of "World-Vision" Armenia. With the title "Professional orientation, education, volunteering".
The purpose of the event was to support professional orientation and career choice of 14-16-year-old teenagers in Yerevan, in particular Kanaker-Zeytun administrative district, and to identify opportunities for education and training.
Career centers of more than 10 VET institutions and universities participated, which will present the opportunities to receive professional education and training in their institutions, professions and qualifications, admission conditions. Courses on "Education to Labor Market" and master classes were also held.
According to the director of the center, Haykuhi Gevorgyan, as a result of such events, teenagers will emphasize the conscious choice of profession, the competitiveness of VET institutions and the involvement of applicants in the professional orientation process will increase.
