2013 On February 26, the 2012-2013 academic year of "Yerevan Armenian-Greek State College of Tourism, Service and Food Industry" was launched. The state summary certification process of 2307 "Tourism" and 2711 "Public Food Technology" specialties of the academic year
, to which were invited the director of the National Center for Vocational Education and Training T. Gasparyan, Head of the Department of Education and Science of the RA Chamber of Commerce and Industry V. S. Hovhannisyan, President of the "Development and Preservation of Armenian Culinary Traditions" NGO. Mamulyan, director of "Yerevan Humanitarian-Technical College" SNOC N. Martirosyan and the head of practice department, executive director of "United Travel" travel agency N. Mkrtchyan and other employers.
The exams were conducted not only with full answers to theoretical questions, but also with demonstration of abilities. The future graduates of the "Public Food Technology" specialty prepared dishes typical of the cuisines of different countries and presented the technology of their preparation.
And the students of the "Tourism" specialty in the subjects "Tourism Organization", "Hotel Business", "Hospitality", "Tour Operational Business", and "Transportation Vehicles and Ticketing" did not only answer the questions provided in the exam papers, but also demonstrated / presentation/ any country and make a tourist package on the spot.
The guests expressed their satisfaction regarding the examination of students' abilities during the final exams and pointed out the participation of social partnership in the implementation of professional education and training and the final certification processes, which provides great opportunities for the selection of ready-made personnel on the spot.
The exam was concluded with a Greek dance performance by the students.
